It’s gotta lotta my band of bros the Violators on there. And it’s gotta lotta my extended musical family up in that… too. It’s beautiful and deep and organic and… we’re gonna come out into the world and play it live for all our sweet fans (that’s right I’m talkin to YOU!). Preorder here: https://t.co/IPKxyfaLIh
Presale starts tomorrow at 10am local times, sign up at https://t.co/6sv7JB2sM7 to get the code. General onsale on Friday at 10am local times.
First single “Chance to bleed” is like some kinda new Hi-NRG (thanks, Jesse!) My boy Tom Scharpling told me that it lit him up like a Christmas tree. He also said it sounds like the song of the summer. I know it’s just the dawn of spring but, sheeit, let’s keep it goinnn 🎶 Big shout out to Winston Eggleston for sending me that special print over the pandemic because it’s been part of my DNA ever since. Flash forward to now… head is cozy in the clouds and it’s on the cover. It’s been a long slow ride and we still floating.
SEE YOU SOON! Love, KV
On the heels of his tenth album, “Philadelphia’s Been Good to Me,” Kurt Vile catches a show at Le Poisson Rouge and reminisces on how Beck and Pavement ignited his passion for live music. https://t.co/jKEtLXBflp
Philadelphia rocker Kurt Vile is, naturally, raising some really cool teen girls. They joke that the only times they’ve seen him cry was when Hank Williams died in Ken Burns’s Country Music and when Bing Bong died in Inside Out. https://t.co/HShLiNSLRj
