I knew Nix was for sure the Broncos elusive, long sought-after franchise QB when he started hot at Arrowhead as a rookie, fell behind late, and sucked every second off the clock when he got the ball back with around 4 minutes to go, driving down into very makeable FG range to set up the walk-off winner. It was blocked, but that was the Nix harbinger game. Even KC knew it then.
Throwback to when Sean Payton said his team had the advantage in a tied game at halftime against the Chiefs because they’re “more of a first half team” and then backed it up by walking them down with their season on the line
@Robby_NFL Honestly I thought the biggest problem was drops and everyone needed to be knocked down a peg. Hopefully the new coach helps with the drops. Waddle also opens up the TE’s and run game more so I think it was the perfect addition
Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source.
Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft.
Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.
Here are the teams who have spent the most money on external free agents (excludes re-signing players) as the league year is officially set to begin.
The Seahawks, Jaguars and Broncos are the only teams who have not spent a penny on a new player.
@HenryChisholm i just dont get re signing guys like krull and trautman when there were other options available, sometimes its better to get a change up, its not like the tight end room could get worse
