A year after release, I still cant get over how hard Funcom fumbled Dune Awakening. They had an original, exciting, emergent "War on Arrakis" vision, then pivoted to Stardew Arrakis within weeks of launch. And now look how beautifully that decision has repaid them.

@itsdtox Same direction Star Citizen is heading before it even 'releases'. Dune went hard on protecting the usual vocal minority of squealers who hate PVP. Emergent gameplay is what makes these types of games have longevity. Mark my words, CIG's trajectory with SC will be it's demise
