I think this is totally wrong-headed.
The issue is not that our best athletes don't play soccer.
It's that we default to frame/size/athleticism at the youth elite level.
We need more good *soccer* players. And we need to stop dismissing youth players who aren't the "right" size.
Fetterman: I would really call Bernie Sanders to apologize for pushing this kind of predator more than anyone he helped him elect…. Maybe he should stop pushing these communists and people now people….
NAILED IT: Scott Jennings: “[Graham Platner] was vetted. People knew all these things and a whole bunch of Democrats in Maine showed up and voted for him anyway. And a bunch of [people] from around the country sent him money anyway… What changed? Why are you bailing on Graham Platner now? You already signed off on Nazi tattoo, a self-described communist somebody who's had r*pe fantasies, somebody who has been on a social media platform known as a playground for pr*dators, and on, and on, and on, and on and on.”
“The difference between this accuser and the previous one is simply this: she's a liberal. It's okay, I guess, for Democrats that their candidates assault conservatives. But he broke into someone's house. And apparently, according to her, r*ped her. And because her politics are correct, they can now believe it.”
“All of this whole thing is disgusting, but to say that they hadn't vetted him, or that they didn't know about all this is totally false. They knew it and they signed up for it, and I don't know why they're backing away from this scumbag today when they had already signed off on all that other crazy behavior.”
CNBC: "Families signed up more than 6 million children for @TrumpAccounts ahead of the July 4th launch...about 1.4 million of them were newborns and young children who will receive a one-time contribution of $1,000 from the federal government... Parents that I talked to believe it's a valuable investment in financial education."
Not only does Zlatan believe there never should have been a red card, he believes the reversal should have been made SOONER. You expect me to believe twitter losers over Ibra?? 😂😂
Sources: President Trump, commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, and White House task force head Andrew Giuliani put together a team of elite lawyers — from outside the government — to challenge the Flo Balogun red card. Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority.
Breaking: Folarin Balogun will be available to play in USA's Round of 16 match against Belgium on Monday, FIFA announced.
The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has suspended the red card issued to the USA striker during their Round of 32 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
