My statement addresses what leadership DID after it passed. Opposing a proposal before and condemning the action after aren’t contradictory.

I waited to see if they’d follow through before denouncing it. They did. I responded. Nothing contradictory there.

we got these mailers in our district. they promoted anthony t. jones (involved in the signature scandal) and darlene mealy (who doesn't even show up to her job as a city councilwoman). wish i'd saved them—felt they criminalized opposing candidates+appeared to darken their photos.
