@supasupa1000@Ovbiedo_@amondDan It would be like someone claiming that Canada only came about in 1776. While that statement is technically true, the land called Canada today used to be the Province of Quebec, and before that, New France. Prior to that, it was Kanata, and before that, Turtle Island.
@supasupa1000@Ovbiedo_@amondDan I guess my education hit a sore spot π. Like I said earlier, you're a very dishonest person. If not, then why else would you be avoiding the fact that Ife exist before Benin as a result of the dynasty change.
@Ovbiedo_@supasupa1000@amondDan My dear, in my early years of uni I studied the Humanities. History is one of the core disciplines within it. So even if he can fool others, he can't fool me.
@supasupa1000@Ovbiedo_@amondDan If you think I'm going to let you run circles around me, then you are mistaken. You send me records cause you haven't sent anything, just screenshots dismissing your very own claim.
@supasupa1000@Ovbiedo_@amondDan I can tell you are a dishonest person. You haven't sent any proof just a screenshot saying confirming that There is no single documented founding date for Ife.
Estimates of its antiquity come from oral tradition and archaeology.
@supasupa1000@Ovbiedo_@amondDan While you're right, your post is misleading. The only reason Ife appears older than the Benin Kingdom is because you're starting Benin's history with the Oba era. Before that, it was known as Igodomigodo and was ruled by the Ogiso dynasty long before the Oranmiyan/Oba era began.
@PFP1443517@Joe__Bassey Two different Benins. The Kingdom of Dahomey was built by the Fon people in what is now the country of Benin. He was from the Kingdom of Benin (also called Great Benin) built by the Edo people in what is now southern Nigeria. Learn your history before talking out ur neck.
