@chrissyfarr As an anesthesiologist, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your epidural but mild scoliosis isn't why it was difficult, and knowing about your scoliosis ahead of time wouldn't have changed anything. In fact, we can often feel your scoliosis when placing an epidural.
@JordanSoze A 1000 times this. In training, I always thought academic surgeons were so great. Then I went into the community and figured out how wrong I was.
Run of the mill surgery... Private practice surgeon all day. Whipple? Sure... Go to an academic center.
