Women’s rights activist Sall Grover says the ABC branding WNBA star Sophie Cunningham “problematic” for defending women's sport is "laughable", and "tells us everything we need to know about the ABC's editorial standards". https://t.co/rXbGfR28fc
Pro tip: when arguing, try not to put words into your opponent's mouth that the opponent has never spoken. Try especially hard not to do this when you're arguing in a public forum where everyone can see exactly what has, and hasn't, been said.
You're angered that I use accurate language to describe the sexes, because the whole edifice of your ideology collapses if you acknowledge that sex is binary, that it is impossible to change sex, that sex has material, important consequences and that legal rights should be based on observable facts rather than unfalsifiable concepts.
You're working backwards from your preferred conclusion and you're prepared to advance nonsensical arguments to do it. Your attempts to change the meaning of the words 'man' and 'woman', to shift them into philosophical concepts, do not change material reality. I'm with Friedrich Engels: "These gentlemen think that when they have changed the names of things they have changed the things themselves. This is how these profound thinkers mock at the whole world."
Trans women are men. All of them. It is impossible for a woman to be a trans woman. What you propose means women losing their sex-based rights. Those are the rights under discussion.
If you want to campaign for trans-identified men to have their own spaces away from other men, have at it. But you don’t want that, which proves that your priority isn’t those men’s safety. What you want is for women to sacrifice their safety, privacy and dignity to validate men’s identities. You are, in short, a men’s rights activist who berates women for saying no to your fellow men.
Funny, isn’t it, how women who’ve been raped or beaten are accused of ‘weaponising’ their trauma when they ask for male-free spaces, but trans-identified men who claim using the Gents has a higher mortality rate than armed combat are met with credulity and simpering concern.
Being brutally honest, not sure people who celebrated or joked about the death of Charlie Kirk and Anne Widdecombe should be telling anyone how they should respond to the death of Jason Arday.
I want everyone to be fully aware that Iraq lowered the age of marriage to 9 for girls, essentially legalising paedophilia, and the world was dead silent.
There are entire Epstein states out there.
Oh Peter, why do you think men and women get separated in sport? Why do you think the Olympics are not ‘gender-neutral?’ Why don’t we have a unisex football World Cup? Wake up, man.. (if you still identify as that?).
Jason Arday’s death is tragic. But please spare us the sanctimonious complaints that he was merely an ‘obscure’ academic who was the victim of a racist witch-hunt. The probing and questioning and exposure were entirely legitimate.
Arday was plainly guilty of plagiarism. He had also made a series of fantastical claims about his life and career. He ended up being appointed as a professor at one of the world’s most august seats of learning – where his students, who had worked extremely hard to get there, were paying large fees for the privilege of being taught by him.
Far from being obscure, Arday had happily engaged with the media over many years, often repeating his false claims. He appeared on numerous TV shows and guest edited Radio 4’s flagship Today programme. He even carried the Olympic torch.
Moreover, he had secured a major publishing deal for his autobiography, which was set to be released in Britain and the US just as the scandal broke. By no measure was this man ‘obscure’.
When a fellow academic in Plymouth began to question his credentials, Arday (or someone close to him) made a complaint to the police. When a journalist from Times Higher Education started investigating, he was subjected to a police inquiry and also received a threatening letter from the leading libel solicitors, Carter Ruck.
Arday and those around him were clearly not averse to hounding others when they felt like it.
It’s very possible that Arday did not have sufficient support measures in place when he was finally exposed – but that’s on others. The investigation and questions amounted to legitimate journalistic inquiry.
This was never just about Arday’s fabulism. It was also about the increasingly controversial philosophy of DEI, the obsession of our political, corporate and educational institutions with pushing that philosophy, and how it might have led to someone with Arday’s subpar credentials being appointed in the first place.
These are all valid questions to ask – and, by asking them, journalists are simply doing their jobs.
Horrifying. Almost 75,000 rapes in a single year.
Are British women and girls acceptable collateral damage for uncontrolled immigration?
Let’s start by barring Afghan men - the worst perpetrators-from entering the UK.
Enough is enough
This is what evil looks like.
Catholic nuns in New York have devoted their lives to caring for poor people dying of cancer, completely FREE of charge.
They don't take government money. They don't take insurance. They simply serve the dying with dignity and love.
And how does New York thank them?
By threatening fines, the loss of their license, and even imprisonment because they refuse to abandon their Catholic faith and pretend that men can become women.
These sisters are doing more for the vulnerable than these bureaucrats ever will.
Leave the nuns alone.

I am with John Cleese and Ricky Gervias on this one.
Remove the religious exemptions for Halal and Kosher.
Non-stun slaughter is already illegal because it is cruel, barbaric, and not at all British.
I invited a team of males to register with Football Australia to expose their ridiculous policy that anyone who identifies as a woman can play in the women's division.
I was advised by local officials that as long as the men pay their registration fees, they would be accepted.
Before we could register the team, police showed up on my doorstep to issue me with apprehension of violence orders and summons to court for vilification and harassment. All for wanting to expose the lunacy of such policies. There was never an invitation to harm anyone, only to expose the dangerous policies.
I also took images from the public domain, football (soccer) sites, that proved this was happening in NSW. For that I have been ordered to pay $95,000 in damages and pin a confession to all internet pages I operate.
Now it is happening with professional sportsmen in the USA we might finally get some light on the travesty happening in Australia? Good thing this bloke is American and not Australian or he would be in big trouble.
This is a male with a woman’s swim suit on. A very average male swimmer incapable of doing anything substantial on the national platform in men’s racing. Yet beat 3 USA Olympic female medalists! It is cheating the same way allowing a 15yr to race 10yr olds is. Its cult stupidity
@MassGovernor What would be a legitimate medical reason for this to happen? Can someone please explain? If there is no medical reason then this is essentially murder but I’m trying to give benefit of the doubt that’s not the case
I categorically do not agree with this. Aborting viable babies, for no medical reason, to full term, is an abomination, not female rights. And I’m damn sure a feminist.
NHS trust tells trans staff they can use women’s toilets. It cost NHS Fife a fortune in tax payers money to be made to follow the law. Why aren’t heads of trusts being sacked for opening their trusts up to legal action, potentially costing the tax payer? https://t.co/jkOgzlLwqq
