#Sahara desert today @BBKNatSci #Morocco trip. First to the #KemKem where we found #theropods, crocs, snakes, #pterosaurs and lots of fish. Lunch at the local oasis followed by playing in the sand dunes.

Last day in the #Sahara @BBKNatSci #Morocco spent looking at (and climbing) the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi around #Merzouga. Definite land use conflict between ATVs and motorbikes ripping through the dune system and conservation.

Left the #Sahara behind today to head to the Lower Jurassic @BBKNatSci #Morocco field trip. Dinosaur trackways and dinoturbated rocks in #Dades gorge, folding and a nice unconformity.

The Lady's Cave #Anticline in #Pembrokeshire #Wales
Formed during the #Variscan Orogeny at the end of the #Carboniferous around 290 Million Years ago. It is a classic example of a Chevron Fold with a sharp hinge and straight limbs.
