I fell in love with #omarchy's logo, which is built from an ASCII art font.

The problem: You can't easily use ASCII fonts in a design app or on a website.

I couldn't find a proper vector version, so I made one.

It's open source and fully vectorized, so fork it, improve it, send a PR.

I am very glad to see @DHH draw this line in the sand. I, for one, have no interest in Omarchy becoming a political conversation.

I appreciate that folks on the right are excited about new institutions in Linux land that aren't captured by clowns and nonsense. But Omarchy isn't anti anything in its foundation. It's PRO having fun with beautiful, agentic computers without turning it all into politics.

My #Omarchy Kids Edition Fork is nearing v1!

Rather than forcing the user to choose Parent OR Child at install, this implementation adds Kids Mode as an "sandbox" within the main desktop, allowing parents (and even multiple children) to share one device.

After I installed and booted up, I got an update notification (my iso was a tad behind)

Opened the terminal, it updated in 20 seconds.

No restart.

I laughed my ass off.

I just spun up a fresh install of #Omarchy on my EIGHT year old, base model Macbook Air (1.6gz dual core) and it installed in 2m and 46s.

Upon reboot, it hit the login screen in 8 seconds and the first desktop in 4 seconds after that.

This is just insanity.
