Mad rocket scientist - views are my own.
Dismayed Brexit and all it represents. Never give up hope of re-joining and regaining EU citizen rights taken from us.

@G3PIA The radio in the picture is on 40m...

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@ProfBrianCox Zero sum-gain though Brian. The budget is less than the ask, so if one team gets a boost, another will get a cut.

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA Much better on 80m. That's LF propagation for you.

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA Yes, you couldn't hear me...

@uhf_satcom T-piece? Just design a duplexing filter. https://t.co/WJOZt8oqs8

Please repost if you want Andy Burnham to work to restore our EU Freedom of Movement as soon as possible. It was robbed from us by the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history.

@philcrump2 ...and versus a plain LNB ?

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA Hearing Tim though

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA Not hearing you

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@eevblog Is it to stop the over 50s buying discarded tech you found in the dumpster room?

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA Ron is a little weak 3 by 5 or so and can't hear me. I will up my power. Your fault if it catches fire :)

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA M0ORF 59+, G0ORD, 59, F4VRB 47....(he's better on 70cm). Lots of fading. Should get better as it gets dark.

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA F4VRB called in but you didn't hear him

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@G3PIA I know I can hear you both. Will be on 80m but not likely to hear you there either.

Finally retuned the 440-450MHz DCI filter to 430-440MHz. Not an easy job as they are not adjustable. Not quite as good as the original, probably needs more tuning but good enough

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@TrisH0x2A Apart from the signed/unsigned bug, why subtract one in the first place? Why not just >= 1?

[Dr Mike Willis @TheRealMike]

@MetOfficeSpace Thanks - but what is the actual storm prediction? You linked to an impacts table based on storm level, but not to what the level is expected to be.

I designed a case for the PTT multiplier board from 2024 in FreeCAD. Now I am waiting for it to finish printing.
