@TheBigRedLouie The entire team was constructed around Brown Jr. (a projected top 10 NBA pick for everyone who forgot) there are things he can do offensively on this team that no other player can, and without him this team is a fringe top 25, with him they are top 15.
@LouisvillesKev Hard road trip to go 2-0. Our best PG is out, and our other best driving guard was on the bench the whole game with 4 fouls. Plus Stanford made some ridiculous shots. Can’t win them all. Team is still good, but flaws especially without PG1 and not hitting shots.
@TaylerLynch They don’t have one when they’re missing their best PG and NBA lottery player and best threat to drive and dish, plus Wooley was basically out of the game with foul trouble. Need to get Mikel back to be a more complete team, and still might not be. Team is built to shoot.
@TheBestWager PK’s offense requires freedom of movement to get open looks, if they are going to allow a football game on the hardwood it’s going to be tough and without MB they don’t have a PG that can get in the paint consistently and make the defense collapse to get open looks for others.
@KyleGoCards I think it benefits both parties, especially if you think you can keep him and develop him to his potential. It doesn’t put tape out there to drive up his price or for other coaches to come calling.
@Matt_McGavic Thought the strategy was fine, it definitely pushed them out of FG range. Maybe don’t do an all out blitz when it’s 3rd and a million to allow a screen to get all the yards back. However that decision minor in this game. Defense was great, offense gave the game away.
@CardChronicle Based on summary videos you’ve seen for MBB do you think Louisville is winning the Natty and will most of their players get drafted in the first round, in your opinion? Seems reasonable to me!
@CardChronicle Duke’s overall talent and athleticism is just going to be hard to deal with for any team for a full game outside of maybe 4-5 teams in the country. Especially if Proctor is hot, not much a team can do except have an exceptional day offensively and hope for some breaks.
