@NuryVittachi It makes sense for @POTUS to withdraw from the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary General on Violence Against Children. Seeing as he's abused enough of them. #EpsteinFiles
@NuryVittachi@liamcunningham1 Of course the “Peace President” would withdraw from the,
13) Peace Building Commission
& the
14) Peace Fund.
How could it be any other way😂
Yo, @SUBWAY 4th Footlong free is not the way you need to go. Reward points with $ off an order was better, but still not that great either. Do better. Think better. Get fresh on what your customers need right now.
Healthcare should be free.
College should be free.
Rents should be less than $900 a month and publicly owned.
We need Universal Basic Income and Universal childcare.
We need a Green New Deal.
Every job should pay a living wage.
Amongst other things.
PSA: Do not let them gaslight you. America used to be affordable.
Your parents or grandparents could work one job.
Not a “side hustle.”
Not freelancing at midnight.
Not delivering food to people who make more than you.
Just one job.
And with that one job, they could:
• Buy a home
• Support a family
• Save money
• Take a vacation once in a while
• Retire without panic
If you worked more than 40 hours, people thought something was wrong.
Now if you work only 40 hours, people think something is wrong with you.
Housing used to cost 2x your annual income.
Now it is 8x to 12x, depending on your city.
And that is if you can even find a home that has not been swallowed by private equity.
You could support a family on a single income.
Today two incomes barely keep the lights on.
A hospital visit did not bankrupt you.
Food was not a luxury purchase.
You did not need a financing plan for dental work.
Back then, overtime meant you were saving for a boat or a vacation.
Now overtime means you are trying not to fall behind.
The story we are told is that “people today just don’t want to work.”
No.
People today are working harder than ever.
They are juggling multiple jobs.
They are answering emails at night.
They are hustling on weekends.
They are selling their time, their energy, their peace.
And what do they get in return?
Rent that goes up faster than wages.
Groceries priced like luxury goods.
Healthcare that feels like a hostage negotiation.
Retirement that looks more like a fantasy than a plan.
The American Dream did not die.
It was priced out, extracted, and sold off to the highest bidder.
We are living in the wealthiest country in human history.
Yet millions cannot afford a home, a family, or a future.
That is not progress. That is failure.
Systemic, deliberate failure.
The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.
Bezos is worth $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.
The people who need help are not the problem.
It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage
