C’mon @tjmcaulay, these guys have been above the law for too long and the fans are past sick of it! But don’t worry, I have a plan to fix it. Are you listening @NFLOfficiating and @nflcommish?

➡️ Ref’s game tape should be reviewed after every game by a committee made up of NFLPA rep from each team, one designated front office rep from each team, a rules expert designated by the NFL, and rated against their peers like players.

➡️ Ref’s should be fined for blown calls, missed calls, and suspended for changing the outcomes of games on those blown/missed calls. Call it straight, call it fair, or face the consequences.

➡️ Top 1/3 rated crews get promoted, get bonuses, and get the big games. Middle 1/3 crews get middle tier games, and lower 1/3 crews get the basement dwellers.

➡️ After two seasons of finishing in the bottom third of crews (doesn’t have to be in succession, just the second year), the entire crew is out for a year for retraining and can only re-apply when new openings become available. Re-entry would be on a probationary, one year basis, and must finished out of the lower 1/3. Next lower 1/3 finish results in being banned for life.

➡️ Accountability breeds excellence and teamwork. Make the flex about being in the top 1/3, inserting your dominance, opinions, mood, or parlay into the mix!

@NFL: You should be embarrassed with the quality of the game between the @packers and the @dallascowboys and how the story of the game wasn’t the players, the venue, or anything to do with stars on both sides of the ball. All it will be remembered for is how @NFLOfficiating blew call after call and made the game about officiating and flags, not plays, not players.

My team is on the winning end, despite your ref’s best efforts, but it wasn’t even fun to watch. This is the worst ‘product’ you’ve ever sold, and it ain’t even close.

Since you’ve obviously forgotten the actual definition of their responsibility:

‘A sports referee is an official responsible for enforcing the rules, maintaining safety and fair play, and making split-second decisions during an athletic contest or game.’

Notice there’s no imparting personnel preference, assisting Vegas with the spread, or getting right with their bookies… what are we supposed to think when their performance is consistently THIS HORRIFIC?! Prove us wrong, take the trash out.
