1–0 down at Port Vale. Fine margins. No easy games. Plenty of positives to take, although I haven’t identified any since 1998. Still early days. Have to trust the process. I’ve trusted it so much I’m now clinically fucking miserable. We go again. #gtfc
When all is said and done, the next goal could be crucial. If Town score it, it’s 1-1. If the opposition score it, it’s 2-0.
It really is as simple as that.

3½ hours up, 2-0 down, down to ten men, then 3½ hours home. You’ve got to feel for the travelling support, but that’s football. They’ll dust themselves down, take the positives, put the miles in the legs and go again. Sometimes the journey home is longer at this level. #GTFC
Red Card! Ten men can sometimes be harder to play against than eleven because there are fewer of them, so you have to be careful not to get drawn into thinking there are still eleven. Need to use the extra man without relying on him too much. #GTFC
@Billy5xh7 Appreciate the feedback Billy. At the end of the day not every summary is going to be for everyone. You’ve got to take the positives, learn from the negatives and focus on the next summary. I’ll dust myself down and go again. Fine margins.
You can have all the tactics and formations in the world, but football matches are ultimately decided by what happens during the football match. That’s why the 90 minutes are so important at this level. #GTFC
2-0 is always a dangerous scoreline. At 1-0 you know where you stand, but at 2-0 you can start thinking you’re comfortable, which is precisely when you become uncomfortable. The next goal is absolutely crucial, unless there isn’t one. #GTFC
