Speaking of being afraid: the non-call at the end was pathetic. He gave Messi & Co every tiki taka foul at the other end, but the defender obviously makes contact with the attacker's foot and brings him down. That's a foul. Not sure Cabo Verde can hold out for another 30 minutes

That should be a yellow for Fernandez for an intentional hand ball. He falls over and grabs the ball but there's no foul, and denies Cabo Verde from attacking the other way. This ref has been afraid to give yellows to the Argentine players

@OGTrinny @TaylorTwellman I'm going to disagree with the push. Defender has his arm kind of on Kane, but there isn't really any sort of thrust. It's pretty minimal contact. Kane also stubs his toe into the ground which causes the fall. There's just not much there

My point was that there isnt 60 minutes of action in football, and the game is actually really slow (which is okay)

@JoelWilson57276 @TigersJUK There are like 130 plays in an NFL game, about 7 seconds long. That's 15 minutes of actual ball in play time. Basketball and hockey actually have about 60 minutes of in-play time. I love gridiron football but it is hard to watch with the 4 minutes of commercials every 5 minutes

@untechochamber @WillyFoosball The lack of away attendance hurts the atmosphere. It's not feasible to travel to away games though. You may not like another team but you don't really have to deal with them unless they're a cross-town rival (LA, NY, PNW sorta).
