One of @UKLabourโs most prominent Pakistani Muslim politicians, Shabana Mahmood, now inherits responsibility for the National Inquiry into the Pakistani grooming gangs scandal.
Is anyone really surprised that @Keir_Starmer has appointed @ShabanaMahmood as Home Secretary?
This is no routine appointment. The Home Secretary will shape the scope, independence, and credibility of the inquiry. And yet the very communities whose daughters were betrayed are now told to place their trust in a politician from the same background as those most implicated in the abuse.
So the question must be asked: what are the odds that our new Home Secretary will lead without fear or favour?
History tells us victims were abandoned precisely because of fear and favour. Fear of upsetting so-called โcommunity leaders.โ Favour shown to political allies from the bloc vote supplying Pakistani clan leaders.
Which is why I have a few direct questions for our new Pakistani Muslim Home Secretary:
1. Will she acknowledge the overwhelming over-representation of Pakistani Muslim men in the gang rape of vulnerable white girls?
2. Will she accept that these crimes were both racially motivated and, in the minds of perpetrators, religiously justified?
3. Will she commit to tackling cultural practices, such as first cousin marriage, that continue to damage communities and entrench abusive norms within Britainโs Pakistani diaspora?
Until she answers these questions, not only will trust remain impossible, concerns will remain as to whose interests she is really serving.

I am Raja Miah. It is now seven years since I first started to expose how politicians protected the rape gangs.
Labour Party leaders tried everything to stop me from exposing what took place. They fabricated evidence and used @gmpolice and @CPSUK to try and maliciously prosecute me. I spent over three years on bail as case after case collapsed in court. My mother died before I could clear my name.
The truth is now undeniable: the Pakistani rape gangs are real, their victims number in the hundreds of thousands, and the cover-up continues.
The National Inquiry we fought for is about to begin. This is our one chance to ensure it isn't another whitewash. But only if enough people know what really happened and are prepared to fight back against the next attempt at a cover up.
Despite a mainstream media blackout of my work, Red Wall and the Rabble has grown to over 6,000 subscribers. Help me reach 10,000 before the inquiry begins.
Every new subscriber makes it harder for them to bury this story. Every share makes it more difficult to dismiss the evidence. Every voice raised makes justice more likely.

No you do not get it @Keir_Starmer. If you got it, you would stop the boats in the Channel and detain/ deport every single illegal migrant in the UK.
You cannot even bring yourself to call them illegal, referring to them as โirregularโ.
You are part of the problem.
