We're writing this to express our grievance concerning the physical and emotional abuse, oppression, and suffering inflicted by EFCC officers upon some of our fellow students (four of them are recent pharmacy graduates!) and friends at Great Ife.

I got this email on Friday about a job offering £450/day. This money is there to be made, if we can be patient, do the work, and get the skills.

I started construction with £5/hour as a labourer, but I didn't stop. I went back to school at age 30 and kept improving.

I have gotten a lot of questions on construction in the last few days. I will host another live session on it soon. Construction is very lucrative in the West if you are patient, curious and ready to learn.

1. Start with the end in mind: Go on job boards, like Reed, Indeed, Total jobs, and LinkedIn, and search for the jobs you want.

2. Sort them by date posted. Open 15/20 jobs to see the general requirements. Audit yourself and see if you have those requirements or need some more time to get them.

3. Once you have them, start applying for roles.

4. If you are applying from abroad, there are some roles you cannot get sponsorship for like labourer, because labourer is not a skilled role.

5. If you are a tradesperson, like carpenter, electrician, plumber, you need an NVQ qualification or equivalent like city and guilds etc.
