Overall, the match was solid. Is it some that'll bring out the Kleenex? No. Almost something that was unnecessary. But, it was a very, very good match between the Rhodes/Gunther/Zayn. Once again, Congratulations to Sami Zayn for winning first WWE Championship
I don't even know how to feel about this.
On one end, I'm incredibly happy for Sami. Hard work and determination was finally rewarded. He definitely earned that. Also, all that BS talk about "taking it too serious," I guess someone didn't forget you have to be serious with work
Other hand, this feels odd and forced. I know what they were trying to aim for, but they about this the wrong way. This felt similar to the Yes Movement, and KofiMania, but Sami wasn't getting no kinda buzz from anyone. So it was like "Why is he here?" Just a weird situation.
How can anyone respect anything when you don't even respect it yourself, "Mr. President?" Again, you never wanted to be #47 because in believe in bettering our country. You only wanted it for sense of entitlement.
Jey Uso says he is done caring about the fans who have turned on his King of the Ring run, and he is leaning all the way into it.
Speaking with Jackie Redmond ahead of WWE Night of Champions, Jey was asked about the online backlash to his alignment with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline.
"You wanna be honest? I really don't care about the fans no more, because when I was doing my thing, they saw all the hate. I can't miss it, it's all in my face. Social media, whatever it is, when my name pops up, I see it out there," Jey said.
He says the hate has only pushed him harder.
"Most disliked video on WWE social media platforms, look it up, Uce. Like 5, 6, 10 videos out there. It's all good, if anything that lit a fire under me. All the noise, all the opinions, it is what it is, because that's part of the job."
Jey admits his standing with the crowd is split down the middle.
"It's 50/50, I'm confused. Pulling me left and right, I yeet, I talk crap, I'm me now. My day ones know who they are, but there was a lot of people that did doubt me, still doubting me now."
And if he wins King of the Ring and the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam?
"I will either be the most loved or the most hated wrestler on planet Earth. At the end of the day, they're still watching me. Whether it be good news or bad news, it's still news."
Jey faces Oba Femi in the King of the Ring final at WWE Night of Champions on Saturday.
