@brullov_art Exactly. AI should help with tedious and boring tasks like the UV unwrapping you mentioned and rigging or retopology. Most 3D artists would pay good money to never do these again.

@gleb_alexandrov Yeah. I think it's a lack of understanding of history in our region and how the mentality of the bully works. He doesn't see the big picture and long term consequences of compromise in this situation. Compromise before WW2 lead to WW2 and not enough people remember this.

@andrewpprice 2/2. Meanwhile some of those who are the most excited for AI art generating are often greedy people that hope to not have to pay artists (while the AI will still use the work of artists). This is a more complex problem than just "a new tool available". It needs more analysis.

@andrewpprice 1/2. 3D art didn't replace perspective drawing, nor did cameras replace painting. A disappointing take on a complex topic. ||| AI is different. AI art algorithm's are fed with intellectual property to then copy and remix it - AI is good because artists that made the data are good
