Hey everyone, over the short past while there have been reports saying we have been hacked. First and foremost, we want to clarify that no systems were breached, no data was accessed, and that there was no unauthorized access to any system.

All data and API keys are safe.

@ShaunsEyeView While it did occur on multiple streams, each instance was self-contained as someone had to send the specific message in that stream's chat, and only that stream's widget was affected. However, our update closes this issue for everyone.

@FatStevenJFG We have posted an update about this on our profile and in our Discord server. TLDR, no data was leaked and there was no unauthorized access to any system. A malicious message with code was able to be sent in Rumble chat, causing our chat overlay to redirect to a different page.

On the broader picture, we encrypt all Rumble API keys and take the security of all user data seriously. We deeply apologize for the trouble this has caused, and thank everyone who reported it and shared information with us.
