@Shivspeaks_@imrenkaursahota You say “let that sink in” as if it adds any spooky gravitas to your argument.
Nationalism is not an inherent good, but since your birth school, media and jingoism in unnecessary places like sports has inhibited your critical thought to believe nationalism to be an inherent good
@thaBidnezz Clearly you haven’t read any itihaas or heard saakhis. Look into the first acts of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur’s raj. Organizing raids to stop Ghazni’s army from taking Hindu girls as slaves. Also 9th Guru’s Shahidi was to save Kashmiri Pandits.
Have solidarity and courage.
@charybdeez That’s literally not what the book is. I was fleeced into buying it because of the title. I wanted it to be Trot’s defence of Marxism, but it really is just a compliation of letters and not a political tract
( And i personally align with 90% of marxist ideas)
@charybdeez I stuck with the text hoping to learn something but I went into not knowing about Trosky”ism” and came out still just as clueless lol. Every additional page I read took me deeper into sunk-cost-fallacy
@charybdeez This was my first trotsky book. Immensely disappointing, not owing to ideas or the way it’s written, but the content: it is a bunch of back & forth letters and infighting related to US communists, and Trot gossiping and commenting on US commie documents from mexico
It bears recollection that the war crime of torture is considered a legal practice in Israel, and has been confirmed as such by its supreme court, most notably in 1987.
@blumatt You can just disagree about strategy with people without bringing “your not marxist, i am” into it. Nothing in Kapital, or preceding works establishes this rule you cite. Not even a policy requirement of the Marx/Engels commie party…

@PatelGangu4113@weaponrespecter Dude why do queer people have to follow your religion tf
And the subject was you asking why the poster says “queering the revolution” and what that has to do with being against Palestinian genocide
@InternalSikhnss@weaponrespecter I has nothing to do with it. This is just an act of solidarity. Akin to seeing a Turkish, or a Yemeni flag at an anti-genocide rally.
Not exactly“inserting” sexuality here, but standing besides Palestinians as allies
