During last night's sunday night football game, NBC showed video of Colts owner Carlie Isray-Gordon and talked about how she sometimes likes to stand on the sidelines with the team during the game. One of the announcers said she needs to be careful that she's not labeled a meddling owner.

So are they offended the owners on the sidelines.... or that a woman owner is on the sidelines?

Hot take: most “smart” baby tech is completely unnecessary. I think a lot of it actually makes parents more anxious, not less.

There’s smart socks, breathing monitors, sleep trackers, and apps where you log your babies every move.

When I had my first, my mom told me I HAD to get an Owlet. I looked into it, saw all the reports of false alarms, and immediately knew it wasn’t for me.

Because I know myself, I’d be awake at 2am refreshing an app and analyzing my baby’s oxygen levels instead of… sleeping.

Not every part of motherhood needs to be measured, tracked, optimized, and pushed to your phone.
