The way a market matches trades and pays them out shapes everything from liquidity to who wins.

BTC tracing revealed very similar patterns: most of the funds were sent to @ChangeNOW_io and @FixedFloat, some funds were transferred to Solana and are still sitting in the receiving addresses, some BTC was separated and left on BTC addresses, and 7.5 BTC were sent directly to @kucoincom deposit address.
As we can see from the tracing, apart from the standard for modern criminal's cross-chain exchange usage, the attacker also utilized accounts on centralized exchanges for money laundering, one of which he used days after the hack!
🧵Significant incident you should hear, @TrustWallet users lost over $7.3 million in a second layer of SHA1-Hulud worm attack. “He who controls the spice controls the universe” – Trust Wallet hackers’ server responded to an HTTP query. So did the threat actor indeed had plans within plans within plans as in Herbert’s Dune? Let’s investigate. SHA1-Hulud is a worm that was spotted the second time in November 2025. After execution worm checked the NPM packages victim had access to, then added malicious code for self-replication on the given packages.
This worm has successfully infected over 700 packages, affecting thousands of developers, stealing their credentials and getting access to Trust Wallet’s browser extension source code and the Chrome Web Store API key. This API key was then used to upload a malicious version Trust Wallet 2.68.
According to @SlowMist_Team, the malicious code installed in the malicious 2.68 version ran through all wallets stored in the extension, successfully extracting all mnemonic phrases stored in the extension. After receiving the uncoded seed phrase, the malicious code sent all of them to a server at https[://]api[.]metrics-trustwallet[.]com. Trust Wallet team addressed the issue and the wallet now works as intended.
