USC head coach Lincoln Riley is 2-4 when traveling to the East Coast. The 2 wins he’s got were barely scraping by a bad Rutgers team, and Purdue. The 4 losses, were not impressive.
@TheSantoneTake did a deep dive into his struggles on the CFB Week 6 show 😮
Penn State looks like they have ZERO Identity on offense…
@TheSantoneTake details how things are not clicking after the Nittany Lions suffered back to back Big Ten losses to Wisconsin and Northwestern.

I know the term “can’t miss” prospect gets thrown around more than it should because it is never that easy.
That being said, you cannot convince me that if you dropped Jeremiah Smith in an NFL game tomorrow that he would have trouble producing.
He is the best WR prospect I have ever seen.
I could probably pick up some yards after the catch against this USC defense.
It does not matter who is calling the defense for Lincoln Riley. His defenses are consistently horrible fundamentally.
Something has to change.
A BIG 28 minutes in Los Angeles as USC is down 21-10 to Washington.
Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers just got their first AP top-10 win this afternoon, by way of obliterating the Florida Gators 45-17.
Mean while, Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks drop to 0-3 in SEC play and blow a 17-0 lead to first year Head Coach Will Stein and the Kentucky Wildcats.
A tale of two different stories in Columbia South Carolina and Columbia Missouri.

Clemson Vs. #4 Miami (-14) | O/U 49.5: When was the last time Dabo Sweeney was a double-digit underdog at home? Well, he has not been. So this is uncharted territory for Dabo and the Tigers. For Miami, going into Death Valley (the real Death Valley) at night against a desperate Clemson group that could change the outlook of the whole program if they do the unthinkable tonight. That being said, I do NOT see them doing the unthinkable. Darian Mensah looks to strengthen his already potent Heisman resume. He has thrown for more Touchdowns than incompletions. For the Clemson offense, I am looking at how they will establish the run against this Miami defense. Over the last two games (UNC and Cal), Clemson has rushed for 5.2 YPC and over 250 yards on the ground last week. On the other side of the ball, the Clemson defense has been much improved over the past 6 quarters (2nd half vs. UNC and last week @ Cal). They held JKS to 119 passing yards last week. This is a step-up for the Miami offense in terms of defensive personnel, and they have not played in an environment even close to Death Valley. I can see them starting slow in the 1st half. On the other side of the ball: I do not see the Clemson offense having the same success they had last week on the ground. Miami is going to force Tait Reynolds to be a passer, and I do not know if that will fare well for Clemson. I played Under 47.5 earlier this week on the @ydkbshow. Looks like there are better numbers available now.
South Florida (-5.5) Vs. Temple | O/U 50.5: USF (4-0) is one of the most overvalued teams in all of FBS. From barely escaping Bowling Green last week and then beating Army in miracle fashion. Temple (1-3), on the other hand, is the most underrated team in the American. Since Ajani Sheppard has taken over at QB for the Owls, the offense has been quite good. Temple should have beaten a really good Toledo team two weeks ago. They were up two TDs with two minutes left and ended up losing 49-48. If they take care of business in that game, you are not seeing being close to TD underdogs tonight. Keep in mind, this is a Temple group that played Penn State VERY tight. I think we'll see some regression to the mean tonight for USF; I played Temple +6 earlier this week.
#18 USC (-7.5) Vs. Washington | O/U 58.5: Nothing official here. But a really interesting spot with both groups coming off of disappointing home losses. USC obviously seems primed for a big win back at home after losing a big rivalry game against Oregon. Do Demond Williams and Washington have any objection to that? I guess we will see. Something tells me that the USC offense explodes tonight and outpaces their bad defense.

#25 Missouri Vs. #8 Florida (-5.5) | O/U 57.5: A massive spot for Eli Drinkwitz. Missouri is 0-9 against the last 9 ranked opponents they have faced. The last wins against ranked opponents were Boston College in 2024 and, in 2023, Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. Quarterbacked by Devin Brown and a true freshman, Lincoln Kienholz. Missouri is still without star RB Ahmad Hardy. They are going to have to rely on Austin Simmons and the passing game. I expect WR Cayden Lee to continue his success. Last week, he posted a stat line of 11 REC, 156 YDS, 2 TDS. What does Florida happen to have? A bad passing defense: They are ranked 113th in FBS. Offensively, Florida is going to continue to pound the rock with star RB Jadan Baugh. This is the most dynamic rushing attack in the country. What travels on the road? A great rushing attack. I expect points in Columbia. As given out on the @ydkbshow show this week, the pick is Over 56.5.
#14 Iowa Vs. #5 Ohio State (-14) | O/U 46.5: College Gameday traveled to Iowa City for the first time in over 20 years. Coming off of their big win in Ann Arbor, Iowa looks to do the unthinkable and knock off the #5-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. That being said, I do not anticipate them having much of a shot at doing so. Starting with last week, Iowa did have numerous things go their way: 145 yards on kick returns, somehow won the game without having a single rush go for more than 12 yards, and the crazy sequence of plays on the game-winning TD drive. They legitimately did not have any explosive plays. The one angle that I am seeing people try to get behind is that Iowa will run the ball with success, and that will keep them in it. That being said, against FBS opponents, the Iowa run game has been subpar: 3.2 YPC against Iowa State and 2.4 YPC against Michigan. I know Ohio State allowed over 200 yards on the ground against Illinois, but I don't put too much stock in that, considering that game was over quickly. Iowa will need explosives to stay in this game, and I do not know if they can find them. Not only do I like Ohio State to get their first win at Kinnick since 2010, but I also like them to cover the number. The pick is Ohio State -14.
NC State Vs. Louisville (-5.5) | O/U 56.5: Louisville is looking to rebound after the loss in a CLASSIC Jeff Brohm letdown spot. After beating SMU, the Cardinals lost to Wake Forrest. Now it turns out, Wake may be good. I like Kienholz and the Louisville offense to have a big day against this NC State defense. The pick here is Louisville -5.5.
