And with that, I am officially done with any crypto, crypto adjacent, or dpin projects.
I made it out of it all in the green (barely), and learned lots... mainly how this is all shit.
I wanted to share an update with you all.
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to shut down the operator. This wasn’t an easy decision. I know many of you have trusted me with your delegation, and I’ve continued running the operator longer than I otherwise might have because I didn’t want to disrupt things for anyone or act too quickly. I really appreciate the support you’ve all shown.
That said, the current situation with Streamr, in terms of communication and operator economics, has made it difficult for me to justify continuing. At this point, I think it’s more responsible to step aside than to keep things running with so much uncertainty.
Please take some time to undelegate and move your stake to another operator so there’s no interruption.
Thank you again for being part of this - I genuinely appreciate it, and I’m glad we went through it together.
Right, just like when “smart money” piled into private equity… right before they needed someone else to hold the bag.
Now it’s gemstones? Convenient timing. Illiquid, opaque pricing, retail can’t properly value them... perfect exit liquidity setup.
“Hey everyone, you definitely need rubies now.” Sure.
🚨THE ULTRA-RICH TURNS TO GEMSTONES
Amid economic and geopolitical uncertainty, ultra-wealthy investors are increasingly moving into tangible assets like rubies, sapphires, and emeralds as demand for hard assets continues to rise, CNBC reports.
For the past week there has been zero communication from you and the Streamr team in Discord.
Community members have been ignored on X and in Discord.
Based on this it DOES look like the Streamr world has ended.

If someone says treaties make Alberta independence impossible, ask one thing: Have you read a treaty?
Cory Morgan cuts through the noise here.
Thanks to Max from @fcalendardotnet for documenting the talk.
You join a “private” business meeting.
Every word, every frame gets stored on someone else’s servers.
Your meeting isn’t private, it’s inventory for hackers.
On p2p rails, data doesn’t sit around waiting to be harvested.
That’s why @Streamr_App is built differently.
It’s time for the crypto industry to take decentralization seriously.
Trustless systems can’t run on centralized clouds - as today’s AWS outage reminds us again.
We need truly resilient networks: peer-to-peer, global, and with no single point of failure.
Robotics in Web3 is moving faster than most people realize. @cot_research’s recent essay got me curious enough to dig deeper and find which projects already have live tokens.
With no clear category on CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap, I built this map of tradeable tokens that are directly or indirectly tied to the robotics narrative.
Which name stands out? Who else should be here?
I believe my own eyes and ears...
- 2015, Musk told shareholders Tesla cars would achieve “full autonomy” within three years.
- 2016, he said a Tesla EV would be able to make a cross-country drive without needing any human intervention before the end of 2017.
- 2019, on a call with institutional investors that helped him raise more than $2 billion, Musk said Tesla would have 1 million robotaxi-ready vehicles on the road in 2020, able to complete 100 hours of driving work per week each, making money for their owners.
Has any of that happened?
Meanwhile, Waymo surpassed 10 million paid trips last month.
