@CFBKings No it doesn’t. Seeding still matters. More regular season games will matter because more teams will still be alive. You’re living in the past.
This is after the SEC got the most teams in over the past 2 years (8, compared to 7 Big 10), and did absolutely nothing with those 8 appearances (5 wins, 0 championship appearances. The Big 10 turns 7 appearances into 11 wins and 2 titles.
NEVER FORGET
The CFP Committee (an ESPN entity) created a rule that uses SOS (an ESPN metric) that directly favors the SEC (an ESPN entity) because they overinflate the SEC all preseason to boost their SOS. CORRUPTION!
@CFBTalkDaily Raiola was the highest rated recruit out of high school and they all came into Oregon having struggled so not sure what you’re basing that off of other than success at Oregon. Raiola was exceptional in a road game against #12 off the bench with no snaps with 1s

Caring about ancient history because that’s all there is to hold onto. Why would I care about anything other than the years I actually witnessed and experienced?
@MrBeavv@ryneschill “The two programs first played during the 1902–03 season, where Oregon lost both initial games to then-Corvallis State Agricultural College.”
Am I supposed to care about basketball games that took place 100+ years ago with different rules and the agricultural college?
Despite an abysmal 2025 postseason record of 1-6 vs the P4 for the SEC, the SECorrupt ranked more SEC teams than any other conference to start 2026. CORRUPTION!
