Oh, the HORROR! How dare she dance with children to a song infused with Afrobeats, featuring a Nigerian artist and choreography by Senegalese choreographer Kany? How dare she donate all the proceeds from the song and music video to Global Citizen’s childhood education fund? How dare she invite those very same children to perform at the FIFA closing ceremony in front of billions of people, give them a platform at two sold-out arena shows in New York and ten sold-out stadium shows in Madrid, and provide them with the kind of global exposure most people could only dream of?
Truly, what an evil, terrible woman. The audacity. The absolute villainy.🙄
But thank God we have keyboard warriors and self-appointed pseudo-activists to save humanity from such atrocities. I’m sure the person busy typing angry think pieces from behind a screen has personally done SO much more for these children. All that humanitarian work must be exhausting.🤡

Honestly, we’re watching you, and we’re absolutely appalled. Everything you do seems to contradict the very essence of what it means to love and appreciate Shakira. You are not her fans, nor are you her admirers. You are exploiting her name and image to gain popularity and visibility or, worse, using her reputation as a vehicle for your own vile agendas.

If you were truly her fans, you would never drag her name through the mud or associate her with the very kind of hateful campaign she has spent the last 30 years fighting against. Those who genuinely admire Shakira know her values, understand her worldview, and are familiar with her political convictions. For decades, she has stood against the very things your actions now associate her with—whether you do so deliberately, out of malice disguised as “cleverness,” or simply through reckless ignorance and sheer stupidity.

It is deeply shameful to see so many malicious souls lurking within this fandom. Instead of celebrating and respecting her artistry, her humanity, her achievements, her philanthropy, and everything she has contributed to the world, you have chosen to turn this platform into a weapon against her, using it to tarnish her name and undermine everything she stands for.
