@otherhappyplace That's awful. I hope you get relief asap. I know someone with chronic, agonizing, pain baffling the doctors, but they offer effective meds constantly. If possible, consider getting somewhere with free healthcare. You shouldn't have to worry about money on top of this.
@datnofact The thing that bugs me is when an AI doesn't cheat, but actively ignores the rules. Particularly bad for turn based games when, for example, moving into enemy units starts a battle, but enemy units can move right through yours without issue
If I were making ad revenue from tweets, I feel like I'd be way too tempted to start making good tweets, and that's really not staying true to myself or my vision of what this platform should be.
The interesting thing is that, with all the chaos (twitte, Reddit etc) now would be the perfect time for a big player to join in/again the social network space, like Google or Microsoft, but they are all busy with AI.
The @NightdiveStudio System Shock Remake is excellent. Elevates the essence of the original but keeps the core atmosphere, it's great!
I do think the map/guidance could use some work. Backtracking is a chore when no rooms are labelled and you can only add markers, not notes.
@FyreGamesReal I guess it depends how immersive vs accessible you want to go. The ironsights do block a lot of the screen and can cause tunnel vision, but that might be the effect you want
