@rossjensen Hartman is still available in my league- I just can’t decide who to drop for him. Can you rattle off a few guys you think are being totally overhyped?
@Andrew_FBB@fantasyaceball Do you think Gillen’s big jump warrants dropping a guy like EmRod or Tibbs? What about Jasson Dominguez as someone already up but still quite young?
@WorkforceJames@ChiSoxFanMike He won’t get those “automatic” 2-3 k’s from the opposing pitcher anymore, but could get an extra inning or two on the mound not being lifted for a PH some games to get the opportunity to make up for it. I would guess it almost evens out, but I have zero statistical backup
@FrankPe35290000@AnthonyDiComo Stearns likes to give the kids a chance and that means EOE for both Baty and Acuña. If they’re trying to fit anything anywhere with Baty it’s because they still believe in his bat…and so do I
@MetCastPod Alonso gets the cleanup slot unless both he and Vientos are repeating what they did last year…then Pete gets dropped to 5 or lower and Vientos takes over cleanup duties.
I don’t care about the constant lefty-righty change. Righty starter faces LLL Lindor/Nimmo/Soto to start game
@deathstatchris@GiraffeNeckMarc This is the precise reason the Mets won’t seek a trade for Castillo- they would immediately use that money to sign Pete. They won’t help him sign elsewhere
@therizzz@JMincone Pete also decided to hire the same agent as Soto. And, ironically, Bregman who he is now tied to even playing a different position. All Stearns had to do to get even more leverage was to ask Boras what it would take to sign Bregman. Pete did this ALL to himself
@MetsMafia17@AnthonyDiComo Mets probably wouldn’t do it as they lose leverage with the QO (can’t extend that to the same player two years in a row). They’d lose the potential draft pick. Unless of course they are looking at Vlad jr. in a year, but that would get ugly if Pete has a big year
