These stiffle learning where students cannot study on their own without a teacher or rules. Majority don't know what to do with all the free time they have after KCSE. Completion of syllabus, homework, revision, tuition and preps has not helped Kenya.

The Basic Education School Regulations Act stipulates school hours are 8 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, no Saturday or holiday classes. This is not observed in any public school in Kenya where preps and tuition are the norm.
