‘Wren Nest’ carved into a pebbles form. A beloved native bird and one whose voice fills the garden. Many of the birds names and feathered nests carved into pebbles are on the @Natures_Voice ‘Red List’ and are in decline. Imagine no wren song?

@PelhamPlants won GOLD @The_RHS Chelsea. I was glad to show ‘Dymock’ head, in a garden reflecting mindfulness.

As @CarolineLucas stated recently at a talk I was at, ‘we are the only species watching and recording our own extinction’.

Despite this we continue to do little to change our ways of living.
In the meantime our planet burns.

@curlewcalls Yes. There were a couple of large flocks out on the hills here and on the top of the Downs high up above the Cuckmere river. No hirundines to mention but hundreds of sparrows, tits, woodpeckers, and a gathering of greenfinch. I am feeding birds all year as insects so reduced.
