President Donald Trump's campaign announced it is suing in Michigan and Pennsylvania to temporarily halt the counting of ballots due to a lack of “transparency”. The lawsuits demand more access to observe the tallying process at numerous locations in those states.
Joe Biden has broken the record for the most popular U.S. presidential election votes with over 70 million votes and counting. This record was previously held by former President Barack Obama who earned 69,498,516 popular votes in 2008.
Voting polls are closing nationwide. Georgia, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Indiana and Kentucky all closed its polls at 7 p.m. ET. Georgia, a battleground state, could be a close call between President Trump and Joe Biden. #ElectionNight
