Faith is not the absence of questions. Faith is the decision to trust God when the answers haven’t arrived yet.

Some of us are waiting on God to explain everything before we obey Him. But faith doesn’t require complete understanding—it requires complete surrender.

As love and truth fill our hearts and minds, our desires naturally begin to shift. Psalm 37:4 (NLT) says, “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” As we delight in Him, He reshapes what we long for.

God forms our faith through His Word. “Faith comes from hearing… the Good News about Christ” (Romans 10:17, NLT). As we read Scripture slowly and attentively, the Spirit brings truth to life within us. God’s commands reveal His heart, and they guide our lives in love.

Jesus said, “If you love me, obey my commandments” (John 14:15, NLT). He spoke these words in the Upper Room, where He was addressing His disciples on the night before the cross.

Obedience is not hard when it flows from love. If you feel worn down trying to follow Jesus the “right” way, today is an invitation to rest. Obedience grows best in the soil of relationship, not pressure.
