In case yesterday was hard... can I interrupt your scroll to just whisper a simple but kind-of profound reality?
You got through it. And some days, just the getting through is an epic display of grit & courage & healing.
Keep going. I’m proud of you.
What name has Satan tried to label you with? Unwanted? Unlovely? Unneeded?
Satan is a liar & a thief.
God is the One & only One who has the right to define you. And He says you are chosen. He says you are cherished. He says you are His child, holy & dearly loved.
Worry tells you that you are in charge. But who wants that job, anyway? Faith tells you the God who loves you is in charge. Your Maker is in control. You can trust Him. All His ways are good.
How we react is a crucial gauge of what's really going on inside us. And unhealed hurt often becomes unleashed hurt spewed out on others.
Let's pay attention to our reactions and look for indicators of anything we need to ask the Lord to begin healing in our hearts today.
Prepare to be amazed!
A groundbreaking new series is about to debut on the massive @primevideo platform: “The House of David”! This incredible production is from my friend Jon Erwin (the same visionary behind the Jesus Revolution film) and @watchonwonder.
Trust me—you’ve never seen anything like this on screen before.
This epic, cinematic, and artistic retelling of the life of King David is faithful to Scripture and powerfully points viewers to God.
I had the privilege of visiting the set in Greece last year, meeting the talented cast, and witnessing the incredible work going into this production.
In addition, we’ve created a companion piece for the series called “Beyond The House of David"—more details coming very soon! Don’t miss this opportunity to experience King David’s story in a fresh and powerful way. Share the trailer with a friend—the anticipation is building! The House of David is coming! 🙌 #HouseOfDavid #EpicStorytelling #FaithfulToScripture
“God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts in our pains; it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” - C.S. Lewis
Jesus didn't tell us to simply not notice when people are insulting us.
Instead, we should see it as an opportunity!
Seriously.
He told us to respond by not repaying insult with insult. Instead, pray for them. Not for comeuppance, but that they would be genuinely, richly blessed.
"...that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?"
