People’s judgements of Ederson after 10 minutes shows that they don’t care how he performs in a United shirt, they’ve already written him off.
Those people are a huge problem.
What’s all the hate about with Éderson?
I don’t know very much about him, but he looks very capable for the Premier League from the little that I have seen.
Is it the Serie A fear once again?
Block is better — Hybrid 4-4-2 / 5-2-3.
4-4-2 obviously less vulnerable, however the more passive of the variants.
Mount joins the front line when we want to press higher, with Amad frequently dropping back unless ball is played towards our RHS.
Mount essential.
A switch from right-to-left can put us in awkward situations. Amad’s timing must be near-perfect.
We rarely commit to 4 in the front-line, 2 doesn’t apply enough pressure, and when we commit 3 we are still at a numerical disadvantage with vacant areas beside the pivot.
Tired of this pressing structure.
Acres of space besides the pivot, forwards scared to press as no one follows it up (as we have 5 in the last line). Way too passive, and it allows teams the space and time to play balls over the top like that. Those balls create chaos that our back-line fails to deal with.
