I am craving a steak. I'm going to the store in a bit to get me some. I think I am going to pan sear them and finish them in the oven, but I'm not sure yet. Which cut should I get?
There’s an interesting battle in Dallas for the backup QB spot between Tony Romo and Drew Henson.
David Halprin of @BloggingTheBoys said “He (Romo) was able to make the throws required of an NFL QB, and is able to mix in bullet passes with touch passes” and “as of right now, Romo is the QB you’d want in the game if Bledsoe went down.”
The young goat that lost its mother in a wolf attack in Sivas and was rejected by the rest of the herd started going to sleep with the shepherd dogs every night so it wouldn’t be alone
Christopher Nolan says his father forced him to abandon his filmmaking dreams to get a "real degree" after film schools refused to accept him
"I didn't go to film school cause I couldn't get into film school"
His father's advice: "he advised me 'go and get a real degree in a real subject. So that you have that to fall back on and then you could go to film school afterwards'. Which turned out not to be the case"
"I studied English, because that was the academic subject that I was best at and inclined most towards"
"it greatly informed my filmmaking process, my writing process. I started to become more at ease with a lot of the literary concepts that underlie film criticism"
Tony Romo's college coaches wanted to move him to tight end. Romo requested six months, committed to throwing every day, then completed 19 of 22 passes with three touchdowns in the spring game.
"I struggled throughout the season. I wasn’t playing. I was just a backup. Coach called me in and asked me if I wanted to move to tight end.”
"And so I said, I tell you what, coach, if you still feel the same way after spring football, then we can have the discussion again."
"But let me go work at this and attack this and hopefully I can change your mind."
"So, I made a commitment to every single day of my life. I was going to throw the football, study it, and do as much as I could to get as good as I can."
"Up until that point, you're almost just living life and you're kind of, you're in football, but you're not in it. Like, you're not so immersed in it to absolutely get the best out of yourself."
"And I feel like from that point, that's that year where
it shifted where you if you asked anyone during that time, you're going to see me throwing the football quite a bit. You know, morning, noon, night."
"I mean like during basketball, we go to play basketball during the day in the offseason and um in between you win three games, you lose the next, you got to sit out a game. I have a football there and I'm dropping back as fast as I can throwing the football on the side, you know?"
"Then afterward, I'd go in and throw with a different buddy. You always had to find a buddy who was willing to... No one wants to be that guy every time. So
it's like, hey, will you do this right now? I'll give you something, you know. So I had a lot of buddies who'd throw under the lights late at night outside."
"Just a lot of people helped me along the way."
"I wasn't very good and I needed to improve. And what
happened to wrap up the story was basically 6 months later when I went through the spring game, I went like 19 for 22, for like three touchdowns."
"I asked coach coming off the field, I said, "Do you mind if I stay at quarterback?" He goes, "Yeah, I think you can stay at quarterback."
A group of orcas was captured on camera engaging in what scientists call "ram-to-fragment" behavior.
One whale holds a large sunfish and lets go just before another rams it at high speed, pulverizing the fish into thousands of pieces.
In a new study, scientists say the behavior could be a clever way to feed the young, a form of play, or a combination of both.

KILLER WHALES IN MONTEREY BAY
A whale watching captain from Sanctuary Cruises in Monterey Bay witnessed a pod of killer whales leaping into the air 10 to 15 times while hunting dolphins 🐬 on Sunday.
The dramatic encounter is part of the orcas’ natural hunting behavior, and the same activity was spotted again Monday. @KTVU

Hearing Tony Romo’s only regret in his NFL career being not bringing a Super Bowl to the Dallas Cowboys has me in my feels.
He really didn’t want to put on another jersey
