@CrystalRacing He was an all timer when it came to one lap pace - but did not have a comparable level of racecraft.

Plus he was too sensitive to car characteristics he didn't like - seemingly unable to work around it at all - and in those circumstances could be nowhere

In his book he said the rule back then was to weigh the plank rather than measure it if it was damaged (it was)...but the FIA refused and measured it as normal, leading to the disqualification...and a tasty continuation of the championship!
