@RinoTheBouncer Because storage for a PC is cheaper than the specific storage you have to have for the current consoles. I can use whatever external drives I want for everything I own, so I can download all of it. On PS5 I’d have to swap expensive nvme’s or just download delete download again.

@GTAInfinity_YT Id absolutely embrace digital if there was a ps5 compatible external solution for ps5 games. It’s not realistic to buy multiple nvme’s and swap them out to ensure you actually “Have” the games you buy.

It’s crazy to think that @xbox can really win the next console war with a simple disc drive, but despite the sales numbers, they absolutely can.

I’d love to see sales number of full price vs. discounted digital sales.

@shinobi602 If they want to get the jump on Sony to win the hardware, then the next hardware needs to finally be backwards compatible all the way back to the OG XBox. The technology is there, and people will buy a machine that literally gives them thousands of games to play at launch.

If @PlayStation or @XBOX want to win the next generation, they need to make it backwards compatible to day 1.

Nostalgia and the growing appeal of physical ownership is real. PCs can run the ROMs, so there’s no reason the next console shouldn’t be able to play the discs.

@Royals Don’t change anything. Q is doing a great job. Our front office has done a great job. Our coaching staff is doing a great job. The mediocre bats are doing a great job. Everything is fine. Just extend contract contracts and keep on keeping on. We love low effort baseball.
