Then the summer rolled around and quickly came #Roses weekend! A festival of sport that York were triumphant in overall including a 2nd XI demolition of @lancsunicricket #uptheuycc #rosesarewhite

We then moved into the summer of cricket! Our 3rd XI the standout performers with an unbeaten season to finish atop the rankings in Div 4! What a season! #allwedoiswin #withwrayourcaptain #IslandsInTheStream

Then pre-season. What a week! Not only did we see the first of our outdoor form but we also built relationships within and exterior to the individuals in the club. @BrassCastleBeer showing us how beer is done the right way and us showing them how it’s drunk😉🍺👍🏻

Up stepped @CoachTharindu to guide both of these squads through the winter focussing on key skills that would prepare us for the summer to come. Long hours. Hard work💪🏼🔥

We started with a HUGE intake of cricketing freshers who got involved from the off and found their place in both our respective squads! Setting us up nicely for a strong winter

As a fair majority of our boys retire to their families for the summer😢, it only seems right to round up the year we’ve had
