@GlennSollie@ShiningScience Yes but our bodies are not bomb calorimeters. Many things will technically burn and release heat in a lab but won't be digested by our bodies.

And, hey, stay tuned for another LAYSTATION announcement next week.
I appreciate AIPAC proving it doesn’t belong in the Dem Party and especially our primaries.
From endorsing Jan 6th members to ensuring Congress remains in the hands of a 34-count felon, AIPAC is an org committed to undermining democracy at home and abroad.
See you in November.
@overfire_news I do generally agree with the mythology/spirits section, but the "cyborgs" should just be "cyber" and include anyone who had a cyber/robot "twist" added to them (Ana). I also think a "Villain" category could capture Mercy/Sig/Ashe/Orisa
@RaphaelKirsten_@TrapekaG@overfire_news I feel like the theme here is taking a fully human character and making them part/all machine. The % machine feels like nit-picking (why isn't Cassidy in there w/his arm? arguably more machine than soldier mythic). Plus isn't cyber-genji mythic all robot?
@Alric_strife01@SWCultureLive I think the way this is phrased makes perfect sense. Cut out, in the context of film, usually means it doesn't make the final edit. Has nothing to do with whether the actor got the part.
@Azanka213408@ZeldaAnecdotes Oh hun, Zelda has been cartoon and/or cell shaded in it's general art direction for >90% of all of its entries. Even in LttP era. Your imagination can be whatever it wants to be, but that doesn't change reality.
@ZeldaAnecdotes Even as someone who LOVES high fidelity graphics in games, I don't think I've seen a single one of these unreal videos that I can stomach watching for more than a few seconds. It's so fake and soulless. As a cute fan project it's neat, but I'd never want a LoZ game like this.
@NintyPrime@TheDavidVinc You asked the internet for their thoughts, someone replies with experience regarding how children learn, and you get defensive and say "you don't know my children" and "my post was about MY kids". No one knows your kids, if you weren't open to other perspectives, why did you ask?
@cultured_spice@jamie_montesano @catshealdeprsn Since you're citing legality, a cat is not legally yours if you don't have them chipped. If you let your cat out with no collar or identification, then it is fair + expected for anyone to find them to think it's a stray and feed or home them for their safety.
@HodirMaster @HonkIfUrHoary@thatnew18 This has been done in the real world with very promising results. I get that dismissing ideas/being mean to strangers makes you feel good on the internet, but this is such an easy one to validate before posting.
@corgilove2020@GottaBeDrD@wavelettes Sounds like you are lashing out at this person sharing their own experience, in an effort to prove to yourself that your children did not have a bad experience growing up. Would someone feel a need to do that if it were true?
@imagesaicouldnt One time I went to r/tattoo and asked, Can someone give me the latest on UV-reactive tattoo ink? Is there research? Is it safe? Mod deleted accusing me of promoting UV ink. I wrote back saying I'm just looking for info from professionals. They responded "not reading that, banned"
@McR1B69 It's an unlimited breakfast - it's just as likely that a hotel guest will take 2x as much food as someone walking in off the street. They have the resources to support both scenarios.
@Pokmar03@Kai0777@Wario64 I've been looking for an answer to this unsuccessfully, but will Switch 1 be able to be docked in a Switch 2 dock for TV output? Or will mutli(generational)-switch households need 2 docks per tv? (I'm only asking because you seem very good at navigating their support articles)
@notta_walrys@sentimentai__s@JackPosobiec I definitely don't disagree that progress isn't always positive and past doesn't always mean negative. I was more trying to convey that the strategy of appealing to nostalgia is misleading because of the way our brains store memories. It's a manipulative (but effective!) tactic
@notta_walrys@globalistwoke@JackPosobiec It does NOT mean all those times were materially better. Your memory is biased. Nostalgia is a wonderful feeling, but wanting to regress to achieve it is folly.
@notta_walrys@globalistwoke@JackPosobiec Your brain is wired for nostalgia - it makes memories of the past seem blissful and cozy. As if something wonderful would be felt if you could just step into that memory. Your brain does this intentionally with your memories, filters out the bad and mundane.
