@BEisenhart We Millennials are responsible for our lifestyle choices as we approach middle age, but our Boomer parents instilled in us the appetites and habits that we have. We were raised on a lot of assumptions that simply don't hold.
@Minnyfilipino@RandyLahey1994 If I were Hughes I would be thinking Minnesota has a short window to win, as they have been mortgaging their future. 3 year makes more sense, especially then he and Jack can sign together elsewhere.
@othockeytalk@RC17AK@NathanGraviteh Yzerman should be able to get a good return due to friendly contract and high demand for top 6 centers. However, Larkin has veto power with the No Move Clause.
@davin_val@banx82@EmGeeJay_@FightCentralFC Force = Mass X Acceleration
A large person usually wins a fight in a short time period because they have significantly more force. The longer it goes, the more in trouble they are, because their movement slows and they can't generate force. Happens all the time in fights.
@Rentfreebiches@JoeSmithNHL Best theory I have heard is that he will sign a three year deal to match Jack's length. Then they likely hit the UFA market at the same time and sign together.
@ChrisLongKSTP If there's still divisions in a 1-8 format, Wild still end up #4 and likely face Colorado in the second round. Dallas likely faces Vegas in the second round. Colorado/Dallas finals.
@tepicks@McInnispicks They had a serious shot this year if healthy. But health/depth is a factor for every playoff team. Minnesota's lack of quality centers and bottom defense pairings were exposed. This team is still very top heavy (except at center). Need Yurov and Stramel to make huge leaps next yr
@TyroneSmollet@brutalfightz2 Don't know what happened before this clip is rolling, but first guy's face is bloody and he's yelling. If you don't prepare to get punched by that kind of man, that's on you. And if you throw that punch and don't expect retaliation, that's also on you. No sucker punches here.
@weenreeno Valid. Would think his numbers improve as a backup with lower volume and at least a team or two at the deadline would see Gus as an upgrade.
@weenreeno Agree. I'm okay with letting Gus go only if there's a fair return. And it really feels like no one is willing to let go of centers. I'm keeping my expectations low.
Also, hopefully Stramel can heal and pan out?
