@twig_lalaland @rebecca_ryder21 The entirety is often referred to as a story, but it's not meant to be story material in the way literature is written. Even the "Bible stories" are written like object lessons more than literature.

The Old Testament's purpose is largely preserving the history of a people that kept getting divided and/or relocated. The New Testament is focused on Jesus fulfilling the prophecies and instruction for Christian life.
