My podcast discussion w @KingBhat made me question my mental and physical health. Am I in the place I want and need to be? Episode coming soon. #RachelThextonConnects
There is more to martial arts than the average person knows. It can help youth, enhance mental +physical health for all ages, and more. There is no one better to explain, while telling his own story, than @kingbhat. I will be speaking w him on the podcast this week! #Vancouver
Can ketamine help w depression and PTSD? Will it be used to help Vancouver Police and EMT workers at some point ? Are antidepressant drugs no more effective than a placebo? Tomorrow, @markhadenblog will speak to this, and more, on my podcast. https://t.co/mjCaWmb853
5 years ago I decided I was going to start sharing my experience of overcoming addiction, mental health & homelessness. I wanted to showcase all of it; the good, the controversial and the personal struggles. I speak openly to let others know they are not alone and that it's okay to not feel okay. My goal has, is and will remain to remove stigma and encourage everyone to adapt a lens of compassion. I appreciate everyone who has reached out, met me in person and supported me along the way! 💛
Dear every podcaster who has built from a small seed of passion: you are amazing, determined and strong. Podcasting, and doing it right, takes a tremendous amount of time, work and heart. I’m tired but when I start something- I’m all in.

Supervised consumption sites are so much more than a place to use drugs! They provide connection and support to other health services but most importantly they save lives. Good to see a group of people open up a pop up site in the SF tenderloin!
