one of my first goals after wrapping up our in-house sprint: get at least one investment signal within 2 months.
not because funding = success. it doesn't. but early signals matter when you're building from scratch.
so I lined up 3 meetings in a week.

third meeting: clicked.

we talked for a long time about the journey, the product, the vision.

I never once brought up investment. they did.

and that conversation? it eventually turned into an acquisition offer.
