If it takes a village to raise a child, I suspect it takes a globe to cultivate

@WheatWatcher Long way to go. Spring will tell the story. Great start any many districts.
The presence &timing of a IOD + with an El Nino is something to barrack hard against.
That said weather systems seem to be overriding things in recent years.
Check out local climate tool website.
A good reminder of why we spray smaller weeds at knockdown - not larger ones as surface moisture is reduced and root disease risk amplifies. Here a small summer spray miss led to a large delay in establishment 🌱 @CropDoctor54
@Agrivetbusiness@BOM_au 2023 spring was an El Niño- it was late starting because of the strong La Sabina that preceded it. You can’t blame the VoM for other people’s climate illiteracy, especially the media.
@Agrivetbusiness Hi Graham
My advice is stay aware & plan for several scenarios. the ocean temps likely to get there, the unknown is atmosphere - wind & cloud, if system couples in winter &is joined by IOD +, chance of a good spring reduces significantly.
@Agrivetbusiness It’s factual and a scientific description with enough nuance. I think it’s pretty balanced.
Not sure why your thi k it’s terrible. The ones that are terrible are the private Facebook forecasters - focussing solely on Nino 3.4 with click bait headlines.
