Thomas did doubt but Jesus didn’t leave him there. Doubt was not the end of Thomas story. He confessed Jesus as My Lord and My God. John 20:28 Thomas preached Jesus as the Son of God until he was killed.
Observations from Mark 6:34
1. Jesus saw the people.
2. Jesus moved with compassion toward the people.
3. Jesus taught the people.
Lord Jesus help us to be more like you.

Scripture: Psalm 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Devotion: Confidence in the valley
David was confident in a dark valley because he knew the Lord was with him.
Scripture: Acts 6:4
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
Devotion: Glory to God Ministries
A ministry that glorifies and honors God is committed to constant prayer and the word of God.
Scripture: 1st Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Thought: The motivation of the believer should always be the glory of God.
“I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
The mark of the eternally secure saint is to pray every morning, “God, cause me to fight and run and hold fast today.”
Fighting and running and holding is what the elect do.
Our closing hymn tonight!

“Jesus, keep me near the cross,
There a precious fountain;
Free to all, a healing stream,
Flows from Calv'ry's mountain.
“In the cross, in the cross
Be my glory ever,
Till my ransomed soul shall find
Rest beyond the river.”
—Fanny J Crosby (1869).
