42/ During the same period, a newly infiltrated group involved in the 11/10/2021 Surankote ambush was detected. There were apprehensions that Abu Zarar was involved. PAFF did not claim him.

23/ 19/08/2021, Karyote Kalyas village, Thannamandi, Rajouri. An unidentified Pakistani terrorist was killed during continuing operations. PAFF claimed the encounter as an attack but did not claim the slain terrorist, as usual.

1/ 25/03/2021, Lawaypora, Srinagar attack. Both PAFF and TRF claimed the attack. JAKP linked three LeT cadres to the attack: locals Nadeem Abrar Bhat alias Abu Brar and Khursheed Mir, and Pakistani national Saifullah. Khurshid decamped with rifles of the slain personnel.

23/ PAFF claimed only Ramees Ahmad Tantray and disowned the unidentified slain terrorist likely a Pakistani. This was PAFF’s first encounter footprint in the Poonch-Rajouri belt.
