أقيم في مصفاة الدقم أسبوع الصحة والسلامة والأمن والبيئة 2026 تحت شعار «القوة وراء تميزنا»، بمشاركة عدد من شركائنا، وضم مجموعة من الفعاليات والجلسات التوعوية والأنشطة التفاعلية.

وتناول الأسبوع جوانب الصحة والسلامة، وسلامة العمليات والموثوقية، وإدارة المخاطر وحماية الأفراد والأصول والبيئة، إلى جانب تبادل المعرفة والخبرات وتعزيز الممارسات التي تدعم عمليات آمنة وموثوقة وتسهم في تحقيق التميز التشغيلي.

أسبوع يجدد التزامنا، ويعزز ثقافة نحرص على ترسيخها في كل ما نقوم به.

OQ8 held its HSSE Week 2026 under the theme “The Force Behind Our Excellence,” bringing together a number of our partners through a range of activities, awareness sessions and interactive experiences.

The week covered health and safety, process safety and reliability, risk management, and the protection of people, assets and the environment. It also provided a platform for knowledge and experience sharing, while promoting practices that support safe and reliable operations and contribute to operational excellence.

A week that renews our commitment and strengthens a culture we continue to embed in everything we do.

نفخر في مصفاة الدقم بفوز مبادرة «علوم المصفاة» بجائزة بصمة 2026 ضمن فئة المبادرات التعليمية المجتمعية.

تُقرّب المبادرة العلوم من طلبة المدارس، وتربط المعرفة بالتطبيق من خلال تجارب تفاعلية في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات، بما يسهم في إلهام الجيل القادم من المهندسين.

ويجسد هذا التقدير التزامنا المستمر بالاستثمار في التعليم وصناعة أثر مستدام في المجتمع.

We are proud that OQ8’s “Science of a Refinery” initiative has won the Basma Award 2026 in the Community Education Initiative category.

The initiative brings science closer to school students by connecting knowledge with real-world applications through interactive experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, inspiring the next generation of engineers.

استقبلت مصفاة الدقم أعضاء من الإدارة التنفيذية لمجموعة نماء القابضة، في زيارة جرى خلالها بحث مجالات التعاون المشترك، ومناقشة عدد من المواضيع المتعلقة بالعمليات وكفاءة الأداء واستهلاك الطاقة، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات والممارسات بما يسهم في تعزيز التكامل واستدامة العمليات.

وتأتي الزيارة في إطار تعزيز التعاون بين المؤسسات الوطنية وتبادل المعرفة والخبرات بما يدعم تحقيق الأهداف المشتركة.

OQ8 hosted members of Nama Holding Group’s Executive Management during a visit focused on exploring areas of mutual cooperation and discussing key topics related to operations، performance and energy efficiency. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and practices that support greater integration and sustainable operations.

The visit reflects the importance of collaboration among national organizations and the exchange of knowledge and expertise in support of shared objectives.

قامت الإدارة التنفيذية في مصفاة الدقم بزيارة شركة Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical (NSRP) في فيتنام، للاطلاع على أفضل الممارسات وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات الكفاءة التشغيلية، والصيانة الدورية، وسلسلة الإمداد، وتطوير الكفاءات البشرية.

وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن توجه مصفاة الدقم نحو تعزيز التعاون المستمر والاستفادة من التجارب المشتركة، بما يدعم تطوير الأداء ويرسخ التركيز والتميز في مختلف مجالات العمل.

OQ8’s Executive Management visited Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical (NSRP) in Vietnam to explore best practices and exchange expertise in operational efficiency, turnaround and maintenance, supply chain, and people development.

This engagement forms part of OQ8’s continued efforts to strengthen collaboration and leverage shared experiences, supporting performance development and reinforcing focus and excellence across our operations.

OQ8’s ERADA Leadership Development Program continues its journey to strengthen leadership capabilities and enhance organizational performance, recognizing the essential role of effective leadership in creating a workplace where people can succeed and grow.

OQ8 was pleased to welcome a delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt as part of their visit to the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, where the delegation gained insights into OQ8’s role and its position within Duqm’s integrated economic ecosystem.

The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen engagement and explore potential areas of cooperation and investment, reflecting Duqm’s growing position as a promising economic destination and opening new avenues for future partnerships and opportunities that support sustainable growth.

دشّنت اليوم مصفاة الدقم برنامج «إرادة» لتطوير القيادات، تأكيدًا على أهمية الاستثمار في قياداتنا وتمكينهم من قيادة فرقهم بثقة وكفاءة.

يقدّم البرنامج رحلة تطويرية متكاملة تجمع بين التعلّم العملي وتبادل الخبرات، بهدف تعزيز قدرات القادة على إلهام فرقهم، وترسيخ التعاون، وقيادة التغيير، وتحويل الرؤى إلى نتائج ملموسة وأثر مستدام.

Today, OQ8 launched ERADA, its Leadership Development Program, reinforcing our commitment to investing in our leaders and empowering them to lead their teams with confidence and capability.

نظّمت وزارة الطاقة والمعادن، بالتعاون مع شركات القطاع، الملتقى الإعلامي لقطاعات الطاقة والمعادن، تأكيدًا على أهمية التواصل المؤسسي بوصفه جزءًا أساسيًا من عملية صنع السياسات وتنفيذ الخطط، وبناء شراكة فاعلة بين القطاع والإعلام والمجتمع، وإبراز الأثر الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والبيئي لمشروعات القطاع، وربط منجزاته وتحولاته المستقبلية بحياة الإنسان واحتياجاته.

Communication that Creates Impact
The Ministry of Energy and Minerals, in collaboration with companies across the sector, organized the Media Forum for the Energy and Minerals Sectors to reaffirm the importance of institutional communication as an integral part of policymaking and implementation. The forum highlighted its role in fostering effective partnerships between the sector, the media, and the community, showcasing the economic, social, and environmental impact of sector projects, and connecting the sector’s achievements and future transformations to people’s lives and aspirations.
Through its panel discussions, the forum brought together sector leaders and media professionals in a dialogue aimed at strengthening public awareness, building trust, and making knowledge more accessible, driven by the belief that the media is a key partner in telling the sector’s story and highlighting its contribution to sustainable development.

ويأتي تنظيم المعرض في إطار تعزيز التواصل المجتمعي، وإبراز الأثر الاقتصادي والاجتماعي لقطاعي الطاقة والمعادن، من خلال تجربة تفاعلية تُسلّط الضوء على منجزات القطاع، وتستعرض مبادراته وشراكاته، ورؤيته المستقبلية في دعم التنمية المستدامة.

Under the patronage of H.H. Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, and in the presence of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, and H.E. Mohsin Al Hadhrami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, the "Partnership and Impact: Energy and Community" Exhibition was officially inaugurated. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals in collaboration with partners from the energy and minerals sectors.
The exhibition is being held to strengthen community engagement and highlight the economic and social impact of the energy and minerals sectors through an interactive experience that showcases the sectors' achievements, initiatives, partnerships, and future vision in support of sustainable development.

استقبلت مصفاة الدقم 21 متدربًا ومتدربة ضمن برنامج التدريب الصيفي 2026، بالتعاون مع الكليات والجامعات التابعة لوزارة التعليم، حيث يمثل المتدربون مختلف التخصصات الأكاديمية، ويخوضون تجربة تدريبية عملية في عدد من إدارات وأقسام الشركة، بما يتيح لهم اكتساب الخبرات المهنية والاطلاع على بيئة العمل.

ويأتي البرنامج في إطار التزام مصفاة الدقم بدعم وتنمية الكفاءات الوطنية، من خلال تمكين الطلبة من تطبيق معارفهم الأكاديمية في بيئة عمل احترافية، وتعزيز جاهزيتهم لسوق العمل، بما يسهم في إعداد جيل واعد قادر على الإسهام في مستقبل قطاع الطاقة.

OQ8 has welcomed 21 interns as part of the 2026 Summer Internship Program, in collaboration with colleges and universities under the Ministry of Education. Representing a diverse range of academic disciplines, the interns will undertake practical training across various departments, gaining valuable professional exposure and hands on industry experience.

The program reflects OQ8’s commitment to developing national talent by enabling students to apply their academic knowledge in a professional environment, strengthen their workplace readiness, and build the skills needed to contribute to the future of the energy sector.

في إطار التزام مصفاة الدقم بمسؤوليتها المجتمعية ودعم المبادرات التي تسهم في تنمية المجتمعات المحلية، ساهمت المصفاة، بالتعاون مع مكتب والي الدقم، في دعم الفرق الأهلية التابعة لنادي الوسطى بولاية الدقم، وذلك للمشاركة في بطولة “شجّع فريقك”.

وشمل الدعم خمسة فرق رياضية، هي: الدقم، الشموخ، رأس مدركة، ظهر، وهيتام، تأكيدًا لالتزام مصفاة الدقم بتمكين الشباب، وتعزيز ثقافة المشاركة والتميز الرياضي، والإسهام في بناء مجتمعات محلية أكثر حيوية واستدامة.

As part of OQ8’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of local communities, OQ8, in collaboration with the Wali of Duqm Office, supported the community sports teams affiliated with Al Wusta Club in Wilayat Duqm to participate in the Support Your Team Championship.

The support covered five teams, Duqm, Al Shumoukh, Ras Madrakah, Dhahar, and Haytam, reflecting OQ8’s commitment to empowering young people, promoting a culture of participation and sporting excellence, and contributing to more vibrant and sustainable local communities.
