“They call him a threat. But is he really?
‘But isn’t politics all about competition? Why are we afraid of competition? If we know we’ve done well, why should we run away from facing the opposition?’”
— Asiya El-Rufai, speaking on why she believes the ruling party is after her husband.
Nasiru Elrufai is essentially now a political prisoner of the Bola Tinubu's regime. Not a fan of the Kaduna's ex governor but you'll be dishonest or naive to believe this is just about 'rule of law'.
Elrufai wouldn't forgive this humiliation of him and his loved ones; right from the ministerial screening till now. Ribadu and others better stay in power forever.
Four Igbo Christians have accepted Islam in Nigeria. May Allah continue to guide more of our Christian brothers and sisters to Islam and keep them steadfast in the deen.
Islam is gradually taking over Igboland. Masha Allah.
The APC-led administration is celebrating the construction of a water fountain as an achievement. Billions of naira were spent on this mere and mid project. Money that could have built hundreds of primary health centres in our communities.
I have never seen anything like this.
This is why I have zero sympathy for Elrufai......
These guys knowingly go into office to become as obnoxious as possible.
When Wike's time eventually comes, he will also be on his own...
See what Tinubu has done. He is clearly biased. He ensured the NWDC messed up their funds while ensuring the SWDC have a real plan for their own funds. That's not how to run a country. It's unfair to the people of NW

This humiliation of Elrufai wasn't accidental. Bola Tinubu has never forgiven him for saying to Aregbesola "Rauf, you know I'm not an Asiwaju person, I'm your person" and saying "We'll teach Lagos how to end Godfatherism".
Nuhu Ribadu does not even realise he's just a pawn in this Bola Tinubu's gambit. Again, Elrufai is a political prisoner, the regime intends to keep him till after 2027 elections.

What Tinubu reportedly told northern traditional rulers who met him to demand El-rufai’s release–insider
A group of northern traditional rulers led by emir Sanusi Lamido II of Kano emirate, reportedly pressured president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release embattled former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-rufai.Executive Branch
A highly placed confidential source privy to the development and who does not want his name mentioned in the publication, told https://t.co/RIPmdv2C7Z that the northern traditional rulers made the move after Nasir El-rufai was granted stringent bail conditions by the Federal High Court.
The monarchs appealed to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release Nasir El-rufai to them, declaring their support for president Tinubu as well as their confidence in his leadership.
They requested that president Tinubu discontinue the ongoing multiple litigations against Nasir El-rufai as well as free him. The traditional rulers led by Sanusi Lamido promised to continue to support president Tinubu’s administration and also declared their full confidence in his leadership”.Politics
The source claimed that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his response to the traditional rulers, thanked them for their support for his administration and for their important role in their various communities.
Speaking about Nasir El-rufai, he informed the monarchs that he is not behind El-rufai’s ordeal. He highlighted how the Kaduna State House of Assembly had petitioned Nigerian anti-graft agencies, seeking that El-rufai be investigated and prosecuted for alleged misappropriation of funds during his governorship administration.
The president according to the source, also referenced Nasir El-rufai’s controversial claims about the NSA’s phone being tapped. He emphasized that the former Kaduna State governor is not being persecuted as being insinuated, reiterating that he has no hand in Nasir El-rufai’s ordeal and that his matters are currently in courts and that he lacks the constitutional authority to influence the court.
The president told them repeatedly that he has no hand in El-rufai’s detention and different court cases. The president reminded the traditional rulers how the EFCC and the ICPC were petition by Kaduna State House of Assembly, alleging that about 423 million was misappropriated during El-rufai’s administration. The president also pointed out the phone tapping claims El-rufai made. He then told them that El-rufai is currently standing trial before the court and that he lacks the constitutional power to influence the court”.
